Carlo Alvarez is a maverick film director.
In 2005 he won first prize for his short film 'HackYou' in the Ragnarok Film Festival. In 2007 his short film 'OverTime' won 1st Prize in the Nescafe 3in1 Short Film Festival. In 2009, 'Habilin' which he co-directed, won 1st Prize Audience Choice Award and a Special Jury Award for Technical Excellence in the 180 Microcinema Film Festival. His recent works include: "Zamora Residence", "Regalo" and "Lamog" (Bruised). His upcoming feature film is "ANINAG".
